Galloway Grille in Eau Claire

Went here for breakfast with my wife on a Sunday. Not busy at all and the food was great. The prices were really good for the amount of food you get. Definitely recommend this place. My wife and will definitely be coming back!

Great bartender and breakfast was fresh and one of the cooks looks exactly like Jonah Hill.

Had the crispy chicken wrap with the chips. It was good and the service was good also.

I've had a love/hate relationship with GG for quite a while...Love their breakfast, but can't understand the wonky schedule... Arguably the best breakfast in town (old school greasy spoon style) but only available Wednesday through Sunday 7am to 2pm... This is a huge improvement however from the old 10 am to 11 am on weekdays, so that's good.But seriously guys, EC needs you to be a 7 day/week no restrictions on ordering breakfast - yes, it's that good.Poor souls needing comfort food late at night could enjoy the warm embrace of some thick cut bacon, eggs, hash browns and biscuits & gravy.The rest of the menu, lunch and dinner is, well, just OK.Prices are very fair for what you get.Extra note, our bartender Karen was the hardest working, nicest and most accommodating since the service I've received in NOLA... And that's saying something.Try it out, just make sure if you want to try breakfast that you get here at the right time ;)

Great food, great prices, nice ambiance.

Was impressed with the quality of the food. Fries (beer battered and waffle) were excellent. Decent beer options. Hard drinks could be improved. Prices are reasonable. Service was friendly. Monday had 2 for 1 burgers. Will go back.

Very delayed service. Cold coffee. Went during a dead time and we were still there for an hour and 15 minutes. Overpriced food as well. Was not worth my money.

Awesome spot! $4 basic breakfast or other options like waffles and egg wraps. Also a fan of the calamari and basket options. Great beers on tap and decent Bloody Mary for Sundays. One of the best places in EC and a frequent breakfast spot. They raised prices but I go on Fridays for AYCE Biscuits n gravy and French toastEDIT: Prices have gone up a bit, but still worth it.

Some people complain about the service. What's really happening at GG is simply a very casual atmosphere. Go there with that in mind and you'll have a good meal.

Good food, great service and friendly stafg. I had the bacon cheeseburger today and it was very good. Also the staff watched out for me and told me when someone backed into my car while I was parked out front. They even got the plates from the car that did it. I had no idea it had happened as I was dining in the back. I really appreciate them watching out for me as a customer.

This is my favorite place to eat in Eau Claire! Always good food. And their breakfast is awesome too! I also love their fish fry on Fridays.

The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We had Tara and she checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us a carafe of coffee. It was so nice to have this on our table. We had breakfast and all four of us loved our food. Some of the food we had was pancakes, scrambled eggs, western omelet, sausage and bacon. Everything was perfect! When we are in town again, this will be one stop we make for sure! So happy to have found this gem! Thank you Tara for the wonderful service!!

Burger was very plain. No lettuce, tomatoes or onions. Just cheese and meat. Ordered medium well. Burger was well done. Can get a better burger at other local area restaurants.

I ordered the pineapple and ham omelet I asked for green olives added. The flavor was fine however the pineapple was the large ring variety...not sure how this was supposed to stylistically improve the omelet but led to a very inconsistent omelet. Upon asking the question of the staff basically got stonewalled. Not sure if I just picked the least popular menu item upon talking with the staff they asserted you've never worked in a restaurant.If you drive a grand prix this place is probably right up your alley. Me, I like a dialogue but most people who believe they are right...well yeah...come here if you like black and white thinking.

We were here on a business trip and this place was recommended by the locals. I am impressed. The food was great and it was cheap. We went there specifically for the wall eye. I got the pan seared, the fish was fresh, but I would rather have them season it a bit. The vegetables and the sides were very good.

Disgusting takeout. First, we waited 15 minutes longer than expected because of an order mixup. Tried to get a "black and bleu" salad, with "well done" strips of beef. The beef was rare, bright pink, with blood/juice all over the salad, so everything was inedible. Our burger (which was supposed to be medium well) was well done and charred pretty badly, as was the bun, which was charred and burnt so badly it left a bad taste in my mouth. Literally the only good thing was the fries, which were soggy but I'm hungry.

Generally when I eat, it is my specific goal to create the most awe inspiring food fight I could ever conceive. But no, not this food. This is the best breakfast I have ever had and it is to be eaten and NOT thrown in my opponent's face!

Finally tried this place and was not disappointed. The clam chowder was epic. Service was great. Atmosphere was relaxed. We'll definitely be back for more.

I used to come by here until my last visit due to the profanity was used by the staff behind my back, after I paid my meal and left. I waited patiently for my order almost an hour and dislike inappropriate comments about their customers.

This was my first time eating at Galloway Grille. My first impression was that it looked like a more upscale place to eat. But I was really surprised once I looked at the menu and seen the prices. The menu seemed to have a lot of options for everyone's taste. And for the location, I felt like the prices were very reasonable. Service staff were very nice. The only thing I could say for the night we were there is that it seemed like it could have been a little short staffed that night, but we also had 6 people dining at out table. All in all, my experience was a good one, and I can't wait to take my wife there to eat.

Just a quick bite on our way home from camping did not disappoint! Casual and cool atmosphere with great beverage options. Staff was all very friendly especially our waitress who was working on a display board when we were there. Even though she was doing that she still took very good care of us and many others. Breakfast was very good and will make our drive that much better!

Traveling back to Appleton from Minnesota and wanted to stop for breakfast. Had found a different restaurant via Google, however that one was apparently shut down recently, so back to Google and found this place. We were greeted immediately on arrival, sat within a couple minutes as they were finishing cleaning off a table. The waiter right away told us there may be a small wait, as they had a couple big tables in. We ordered and had our food within 10 minutes at most. The food was delicious, service was great, and was an absolutely cool looking building. Would definitely go back if we are ever in that area again.

I ordered a burger and a steak, and they forgot the steak. When I went back to get my steak, I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for any employee to even look at me, let alone ask if they could help. When I finally asked for my steak, they brought it to me in less than 10 seconds. Sk why couldn't they have known they FORGOT HALF AN ORDER and then wait an exuberant amount of time before finally completing my order, which all in all took over half an hour for them to fill.

I love their Friday fish fry. We got three big pieces of cod in a delicious batter served with fries and a serving of coleslaw. It was all fresh and served with a smile.

Galloway Grille has the best Bloody Mary's and their breakfast is delicious and affordable. They also have delicious lunch/dinner options. Would highly recommend if your in the area and looking for food that it taste like it's made from scratch.

Food was great but it took a long time to get it. It wasn't very busy on a weekend. As long as I have time, I'd definitely eat there again.

Good food. Great curds! I ordered a medium burger, but it was well-done.Service was ok. We were a group of 8 at lunch time, so you'd expect it to be pretty well-staffed, but the waitress was doing miscellaneous tasks, and a couple orders were rung up wrong. One person was undercharged after a mistake.

Service was a bit slow but food was good and prices were decent.

Food is great. Sometimes wait time can be long. They're usually pretty good about telling you before you order if it going to be more than 45 minutes.

Great food for a fair price. But you better make some time, because that what it takes to get your breakfast. I Mean busy place, just not that busy. Nice place though.
